Il maschio e la femmina dialogano attraverso l'interazione fisica con l'aiuto di apparecchi per la registrazione di immagini: polaroid, macchine fotografiche digitali, videocamere e proiettori.
Tra il mittente e il destinatario sta il corpo umano, nel quale vengono inseriti apparecchi elettronici, oggetti metallici e trasmettitori d'impulsi. La manipolazione costante di informazioni scuote l'equilibrio precostituito e i ruoli socialmente acquisiti diventano un costume, in un gioco di illusioni. Il maschio e la femmina si scambiano “immagini” e i relativi significati. Il contatto e le relative circostante vengono rese un feticcio dalla coppia.
L'obiettivo di tranSfera 4 è quello di cercare forme di comunicazione non verbale fra i soggetti coinvolti in una relazione amorosa. Il lavoro è un ibrido che, in forma di installazione audio-video, include una live performance usando elementi sonici e visuali in tempo reale.
I performers alterano l'immagine percepita del corpo con riferimenti all'attuale caos nell'informazione e alla manipolazione della realtà eseguita dai media. Hanno a che fare direttamente con gli aspetti fisico, emotivo, sessuale e di genere di una relazione amorosa e con la mediazione digitale, concepiti come dei “trasferimenti” o scambi tra i due performer.
Il pubblico viene coinvolto nella performance facendosi fotografare, e i volti fotografati vengono poi mescolati con quelli dei performer e proiettati sul muro. Tutte le fotografie, stampante durante la performance, vengono appese al muro come una sorta di piccola mostra.
Man and woman are conducting a dialogue by having a physical intercourse with help of image capturing devices: polaroid and digital photo cameras as well as video cameras and projectors. Between the senders and the receivers stands the human body, in which electronic systems and metal objects / impulse transmitters are placed.
The constant manipulation of information shakes the balance and the socially attributed roles become a costume in a game of illusion. The male and female exchange "images" and their meanings. The couple fetishizes the connection and the accompanying circumstances.
The goal of "tranSfera 4" is to search for non-verbal forms of communication between those in an intimate relationship. It is a hybrid work, which installed as an audio-visual exhibit, involves live performance utilising real-time video and sonic components.
The performers alter the perceived image of body, referring to the modern information chaos and the manipulation of reality performed by the media and their technologies. They deal directly with both physical / emotional / sexual and gender aspects of intimacy and digital mediations, here conceptualised as "transfers" or exchanges between the two performers.
The audience of this performance gets involved by posing to the polaroid camera - the pictures of peoples' faces are then digitally mixed with the faces of the performers and projected on the wall. All polaroids and photo prints (printed live during the performance) are being attached to the wall as
a kind of a small exhibition.
